Though I was known to scribble on the walls as a child, I have been drawing and writing more and more seriously ever since joining DeviantArt in February of 2011 as "Skelo-Heart" and adopting the alias of "MysticSparkleWings" as my online identity sometime in 2012. I am almost entirely self-taught in digital and traditional art, however I have had a few classes over the years to boost my skill set. I've also done some minor animation work in the past and spend quite a bit of my free time writing.

I'm currently studying as a full-time student to be an Art Teacher, preferably at the high school or college level. In the meantime, I have taught a few friends on occasion and currently work as a freelance and self-employed artist.

In 2021, I pursued one of my younger self's biggest dreams and put my abilities to the test by going through the process of self-publishing my first book, Drawn Like A Magnet, a compilation of my works from NaPoWriMo 2020.
